Some teenagers face so many pressures that they don’t know how to handle it all. Our guest this week was the parent of a teenage daughter who went through some of the toughest scenarios anyone can imagine. Dena Yohe decided to turn their experience into a book. It’s called, You Are Not Alone – Hope For Hurting Parents of Troubled Kids. Click here to get a copy of Dena’s book.

He’s Always There

One of the biggest issues that so many people face is loneliness. The Bible says, in the book of Deuteronomy, “So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.” Today, Richard shares from the book of Luke and talks about the comforting promises of God.

Billy Graham, a name that will go down in history as one of the most influential and beloved evangelists of all time. Believe it or not, when Billy was just a young man, he was once told that all he would ever amount to would be a poor country preacher somewhere out in the sticks… Of course, we all know how that prophetic utterance panned out. The ministry of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has influenced millions to put their trust in Jesus Christ. Today, Dr. Tom Philips, Vice-President of the Billy Graham Library, talks about the importance of obeying God in the marketplace. Click on the audio bar below to hear more.

If you’ve grown up in church, chances are you’re familiar with the term “evangelism.” But did you know that evangelism simply means to share the love of Christ with others? When pointing people to Christ, you never know the impact that they’ll have on the rest of the world. Back in 1920, a ten year old named Wally Amos Criswell gave his life to Christ. Two years later, he committed his life to ministry and by the time he was seventeen, he was licensed to preach. By his 35th birthday, Dr. W.A. Criswell was pastoring the First Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. Today, Dr. Criswell’s long-time friend, Jack Pogue talks about the life and legacy of Dr. W.A. Criswell.
