Real Time in the Marketplace
Our Real Time spotlight shines on Randy Kellough, a bi-vocational pastor. As you probably know, bi-vocational pastors serve in a ministry capacity as well as work in some type of secular position. When Randy is not preaching and ministering to the people at Providence Baptist Church, he works at a local bank. One of the greatest advantages a bi-vocational pastor has is being in touch with non-Christians, in the “real world,” so to speak. This is true for Randy. He has had many opportunities to use his gifts and training to reach out to people right where they are – at their point of need, outside the church walls.
Real World Impact
Our guest, whose name is being withheld for his protection, is the Executive Director of a ministry in Asia. There are over 1.5 BILLION people that live in his country and less than 4% of them are Christians. In 1965, our guest’s father read this statistic and decided to change those numbers. That’s when our guest’s ministry was developed to reach unreached people groups in Asia.
Tune in as our guest shares about a young man whose faith enabled him to move mountains – or at least to climb over them!
