What was life like when you were a child? Hopefully, it was full of fun memories and exciting childhood experiences with loving parents and a good education. But unfortunately, for many, childhood was and is anything but delightful. Did you know that last year alone, over a quarter of a million children were put into foster care? That’s about one child, every two minutes, of every day. This staggering statistic is one of the reasons that today’s guest does what he does. Our next guest has a ministry in the marketplace that involves coffee. It all started after a missions trip to an African country known for it’s coffee cultivation, Kenya. When she arrived in Kenya, she was struck by the poverty and it’s ramifications on the Kenyan people. When she returned to Memphis, she and a friend decided to start a business where the profits would be used to help those impoverished families that she had met in Kenya.
