Recently, my daughter and I were walking through the park. It was a beautiful sunny day, when something caught her eye. It was a big fountain of water, spilling into a small pool. She was immediately captivated. As she got closer, she noticed that it was full of pennies. I knew what was coming next, so I reached into my pocket and pulled out a shiny penny. She threw it in the water and watched the ripples spread. Then she said this, “Daddy, how can a small penny make such a big wave?” You know, it’s a lot like our spiritual lives. By taking a leap of faith, you may never know the impact that you’ve made on someone else’s life. One small act of obedience can influence multitudes. Real Time in the Marketplace
Last week on Ministry in the Marketplace, Richard sat down with Ms. Victoria Hearst. She’s the founder and president of Praise Him Ministries in Ridgeway, Colorado. Over the years, her family name has made quite the impact in the media world. Her grandfather, William Randolph Hearst, founded the nation’s largest newspaper chain. The Hearst Corporation now publishes multiple newspapers and magazines including, Cosmopolitan. Victoria decided that it was time to take a stand against the negative impact that Cosmo is having on minors. That’s when she launched the Cosmo Harms Minors campaign. Today, we’ve invited Victoria back to the program. Click on the audio bar below to find out more.
