Have you ever had to move away from home due to a job transfer or to seek a higher education? If that’s the case, you’ve probably experienced some sort of loneliness at some point. Today, Richard Hamlet talks about how God’s presence never left Paul during his missionary journey in Acts and how it applies to us today.
Real Time in the Marketplace
There’s been a lot in the news lately about renewed diplomatic ties between the US and the Island Nation of Cuba. You may not be old enough to remember, but there was a time when Havana Cuba was quite the tourist paradise. But for those of you who were school age in the 50’s and 60’s, you may have a different memory of Cuba. You may remember seeing films in class depicting scenes of communist dictator, Fidel Castro along with instructions on what to do in the event of an attack on the U.S. While many would like to see sanctions remain, others see this as a new opportunity to bring the gospel of Christ to a nation long shut-off from the free world. Two of the latest to walk through this open door are Richard and Ginger Hamlet, who recently traveled to Cuba to re-connect with some of MOF’s ministry partners. And while there, Richard sat down to visit with Pastor Daniel Gonzalez.
Real World Impact
Today, our guests will be coming to you from Havana Cuba. For decades now, Cuba has been under the leadership of dictators Fidel Castro and his brother Raul. While over the years, many have tried to flee the communist regime, our next guest sees it as her mission-field. Anne Isabelle is the wife of Pastor Gonzalez and you don’t want to miss her story.
