Real Time in the Marketplace

victoria-hearst-02-headshotLet’s turn back the Ministry in the Marketplace time capsule to the 1880’s. In America, innovation was thriving. The Washington Monument and the Brooklyn Bridge were completed, Thomas Edison had just invented the light bulb, William Randolph Hearst acquired his first newspaper and would then go on to build the largest newspaper conglomerate in America. Mr. Hearst bought his first magazine in 1905, Cosmopolitan. Over the years, it’s evolved from being a family magazine to a women’s magazine. Today, some would say that Cosmo is a moral violation when you’re standing in the checkout line. Today’s guest is the Granddaughter of William Randolph Hearst, Ms. Victoria Hearst. She joins us to talk about her ministry in Colorado and how she is working to make a positive difference on the next generation.
