Are the people that you encounter everyday aware of God’s invitation? I’m talking about his open invitation of the gospel to anyone who will accept Him. All it takes is faith. Romans 10:17 says, “So faith comes by hearing, that is, hearing the good news about Christ.” People can’t respond to something that they have never heard of. It may surprise you, but there are many people who would never darken the doors of a church, but they may listen to what you have to say about Christ. Sharing the gospel isn’t just the responsibility of pastors and evangelist. It’s for everyone, one-on-one in the marketplace. Today, Richard Hamlet shares from Revelation 22:17.
Real Time in the Marketplace
Each week on Ministry in the Marketplace, your host Richard Hamlet sits down with people from all walks of life, who are making a difference for Christ in their sphere of influence. Recently, Richard traveled to Southeast Asia to meet with MOF’s ministry partners. Along the way, he met some new people, and made some new friends. Today, Richard visits with a gentleman named Paul. Paul shared with Richard how he has been called to be a minister in his marketplace through the real estate business. Click on the audio bar below to hear how God is using him at work.
Real World Impact
On a very short street, just off a very busy highway, under the shadow of one of the tallest office buildings in Memphis Tennessee, is a coffee shop. That’s right, in a city once known for having more churches than gas stations. Well now, we’re pretty sure that this city has more places for you to get a cup of coffee than gas. So that begs the question, why open another one? Well, it all started when Lacey Stluka went on a mission trip to Africa with her friend, Britney Christie. It was a trip that would not only impact their own lives, but the lives of others.
