Real Time in the Marketplace

Byron Tyler, Program Director for Bott Radio Network

This week, we shine our Ministry in the Marketplace spotlight on the Program Director of one of our radio station affiliates, Bott Radio Memphis. Byron Tyler started his career in the radio business when he was only 14 years old. Over the years, he had had some incredible opportunities to meet and interview all kinds of people from all walks of life. We get to hear those conversations daily on Bott Radio, as well as Byron’s YouTube channel. Byron looks at his Job as a chance to shed some light on the positive things that are going on by featuring uplifting stories from people who are standing up for Christ in their marketplaces.

Real World Impact

Later on today’s program, Byron talks with us about the time that he felt God’s calling to leave the comforts of home, uproot his young family, and head out half-way around the world to serve as a radio missionary. Sometimes answering God’s call isn’t always easy, but Byron will be the first to tell you that God’s blessing is far greater than anything he could’ve ever imagined.
