Steve Moses, Director of World Relief Memphis

Today, our guest on Ministry in the Marketplace is Steve Moses, Director of World Relief Memphis. It’s one of twenty-five North American branches of this not-for-profit. Steve has discovered that you don’t have to go overseas to have a missions ministry. In fact, World Relief is helping refugees from many different nations escape from persecution, poverty, and despair by resettling them right here in the U.S. This ministry of hospitality is based on Jesus’ words “I was a stranger and you invited me in.” Click on the link below to hear what God is doing through World Relief.

Real World Impact

World Relief is a relief and development agency for international refugees, people who have fled their countries due to persecution. A couple of years ago, Steve and some friends had an idea to start a soccer tournament and to invite refugees from different countries to participate. It became known as “The Cup of Nations” and within a couple of years, it has doubled in size and is literally changing peoples lives. Listen below for the full story.
