Have you ever felt like no matter what you do, it’s just not good enough? Far too often, so many of us try to impress God or wonder what He wants from us. The truth is, all He wants is for us to know Him more. To have a daily relationship with Him and to give Him complete control of our lives. In the book of Hosea, it’s described that God desires mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. Today, Richard Hamlet breaks down Hosea 6:6 with three points of what the Scripture says about God’s expectations of us.
Real Time in the Marketplace
This week, our Ministry in the Marketplace spotlight shines on Andre Guy-Reed, who pastors a small congregation in North Memphis, TN. But long before he was a Reverend, he was a robber. Among other things, he even held up people in church. His life of crime eventually landed him in prison where God began speaking to him and Andre began listening. Andre gave his life to Christ and discovered he had a purpose in God’s Kingdom. He founded The Revelation Christian Center and before he knew it, God was sending him back to the same streets he had once terrorized.
Real World Impact
If you listen to today’s broadcast, you’ll hear Pastor Guy talk about how there are several people in his church whose lives have been changed by the power of the Gospel. Tyrone Henderson is one of those people. Recently, our Producer sat down with Tyrone as he told his chilling story of what life was like on the streets. Click the link below for the full story.
