Rina Venter

Our Real Time spotlight shines on Rina Venter, a native of South Africa. Rina is a missionary and pastor’s wife who extends her ministry outside the church walls. Rina has a genuine love and compassion for the well-being of those she meets. For decades, she has helped AIDS/HIV orphans, empowered women, and provided life skill training. Rina and her husband, Hennie, use multiple holistic platforms to share the gospel. Recently, the Venters discovered they have some gifts they could apply to further God’s kingdom. Tune in to learn more about their new ministry platform which uses a business-as-missions model.

Real World Impact

Real World Impact focuses on how God is working through individuals around the world. Each of us can impact our marketplace for Jesus Christ. While it does require some intentionality, prayer, sensitivity, and often courage on our part, it is always God who transforms lives. We are called to genuinely witness of what Jesus has done in our lives and share the good news of the Gospel. In yielded obedience to Him, we reach out with the personality, gifts, and talents God has given us. As we do so and commit our way to the Lord, He acts.

An excellent example of this is Michelle Bird from Memphis, TN. Michelle actively uses her gifts of leadership and service in her own marketplace as the Community Manager of a local senior housing community. Using the opportunities she encounters every day, she is making an eternal difference in their lives. Tune in to hear what she is doing.
