“Road construction” or “work zone ahead” are not what most drivers like to see when rushing down the interstate. However, the temporary inconvenience leads to improvement and enhances functionality when completed. Like roads, our lives have areas that need repair, rebuilding, and new construction due to sin, failure, or even spiritual growth. Fortunately God’s compassion and mercy are new every morning. He graciously restores, constructs, and even reconstructs each of us. What God starts, He will always finish. Tune in as Richard L. Hamlet explores Lamentations 3:22-23 and shares observations about God’s goodness, freshness, and faithfulness in constructing and restoring His people.

Real World Impact
We are a busy generation! This is especially true if you have young children or grandchildren: Going here , going there, school, soccer practice, ballet, music lessons – not to mention work and church obligations. In the midst of it all, it is easy to forget the needs of those around us. Yet, when we see needs most of us want to help. For example the homeless and panhandlers often trigger compassion, or perhaps guilt, when we see them. Although willing, we are often unsure of effective ways to help. What do you do when you see someone standing on the side of a road with a cardboard sign? Jeff Patrick, of Memphis Union Mission reaches out to the homeless in Memphis daily. Tune in to hear what Jeff recommends.
