All You See Is Not All That There Is

Nov 10th, 2024

In the marketplaces of the world there are many who are alive physically but dead spiritually. They are blinded to what is a head. Tune in as Richard L. Hamlet shares a from  Genesis 5:24 and Hebrews 11:5 from the life of Enoch, a man who pleased God and walked by faith. Enoch’s life  communicates a relevant message: This is not all.  All that you see and experience is only a part of it. What you see will vanish, and then there will be the eternal state of the soul. Our souls will continue to live; we will forever be; either in heaven with God or in torment in hell under judgment, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ  is what makes the difference. How can you make a difference for the spiritually dead in your marketplace?

Real Time In the Marketplace

Randy Odom

Randy Odom

Our Real Time in the Marketplace segment takes a look men and women around the world who “step out of the box,” courageously stand on God’s Word and apply their faith to their unique marketplace. Our guest this week is Randy Odom, the Chief Operating Officer at Memphis Athletic  Ministries, affectionately know as MAM.

MAM works to develop inner-city youth into a generation of spiritually strong, productive adults. The process involves teaching them to love God, love others, and love themselves through small group mentoring, Bible study, academic enrichment, and sports. MAM provides access to year round, quality programs. Well-trained staff mentor at-risk youth in disadvantaged communities. MAM works in partnership with families, schools and other community organizations. Over 900 youth participate daily through 10 neighborhood centers.

Real World Impact

The term “World Missions” doesn’t always mean travelling to a third-world country. We are surrounded every day by people who have been wounded both physically and emotionally that are searching for hope, healing, and love. Our Real World Impact segment, features a young man named Rodrigo Brooks. Rodrigo was born into a single-parent home with very little income. Being the “man of the house” at an early age, he turned to criminal activity and drug dealing to try and make ends meet. He soon found himself in a desperate position that he knew that this was not the lifestyle he wanted to live. Tune in to hear what made a difference for Rodrigo.
